College School Year Internships

  • Camping Services Administrative Intern
  • Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern

Coaching and Training

Interns will participate in intern meetings, mission-wide activities, spiritual mentorship and personal development opportunities throughout the year. Interns may have additional opportunities or activities designated by the supervisor.

Ideal Candidates
  • An ideal candidate would be either a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in College.
  • Young Life desires to recruit self-motivated individuals who tackle tasks with creativity, ingenuity and energy within their current fields of study. Successful applicants will display the ability to "be relational," have well-developed organizational/communication skills, and the maturity to follow through on all work projects.
  • Students interested in a Young Life internship​ should be teachable, able to multitask on both ​short- and long-term projects, and be in agreement with Young Life's Mission Statement and Statement of Faith​. Intern must also adhere to the Young Life Oxford & Ole Miss convenant.
  • Young Life experience preferred.

Intern's Commitment and Compensation
  • Commitment: 12 hours per week for the 2018-2019 school year. The majority of work will occur Monday-Friday.
  • Compensation: These are unpaid positions. Students may raise support if they wish to be paid.
  • College Credit: Supervisor will coordinate with the intern's academic program to assist with college credit, when possible. 
  • Core Dates: The internship will run for the duration of the school year, specific dates TBD.
